Creativity in Challenging Times
Since the beginning of Lockdown, all the creative arts have been playing an important and healing role in helping people cope. From countless virtual concerts, live streamed art classes, virtual gallery tours… creativity is being used and championed like never before.
I was invited by artist Sharon Virtue, to take part in sharing a positive, inspiring message during this current time of uncertainty.
Here’s her message:
Many of my fellow artist friends have a strong community focus - and a belief that art should be accessible to EVERYONE
Our goal to encourage folks to stay creative- simple acts of solidarity are reminders we are not alone. There is power in our collective community.
Now I’m passing the baton forward for your positive input~
What message do you feel inspired to share?
What encouragement can we offer each other to stay creative?
Tag creative folks you find empowering - doesn’t have to be with visual arts - gardening and baking and yoga are all just as creative!
