Portraits for NHS Heros 2
I recently completed a new #PortraitsforNHSHeroes painting. This, the second NHS portrait, is of a wonderful midwife: Kazza, painted in oils on canvas paper.
Joining fellow artists up and down the country in this project has been a rewarding challenge. I feel an enormous weight of responsibility to create a painting that captures my Worker and to deliver something to treasure.
I still have another Hero to paint, but I think it will be a little different to what Iām used to, so watch this space. To all those working hard to keep us all safe, to those helping to keep life ticking over: thank you!
